1. Problem verification:
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF

NOTE:
Do not allow dust, dirt, or other foreign materials to enter the
steering gearbox.
Refer to Steering Gearbox Disassembly and Reassembly as needed during
this procedure.
1. Steering Gearbox - Remove
2. Tie-Rod End - Remove
3. Rack End Boot - Remove
Remove the boot band (A)
Parking Your Vehicle
Do not park your vehicle near flammable objects,
such as dry grass, oil, or timber.
Heat from the exhaust can cause a fire.
When Stopped
1. Depress the brake pedal firmly.
2. With the brake pedal depressed, pull up the electric parking brake switch
slowly,
but fully.
