Inspection
1. Driveshaft - Inspect
Check the inboard boot (A) and the outboard boot (B) on the driveshaft
(C) for
cracks, damage, leaking grease, and loose boot bands (D).
Special Tools Required
CV Boot Clamp Pliers 30500, commercially
available
Bearing Puller, commercially available
Slide Hammer 5/8"-18 UNF, commercially available
Threaded Adapter, 26 x 1.5 mm 07XAC

Removal

2. Front Wheel - Remove
3. Stabilizer Link - Remove
Remove the self-locking nut (A) and the flange nut (B) while holding the
respective joint pin (C) with a hex wrench (D)
Remove the stabilizer link (E).
Installation
