Replacement

NOTE: Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid on all parts before installation.

1. Control Shaft Oil Seal - Remove

2. Control Shaft Oil Seal - Install

  1. Install the oil seal (A) flush with the transmission housing using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 22 x 24 mm bearing driver attachment.

TRANSMISSION HOUSING DRIVEN PULLEY SHAFT BEARING REPLACEMENT (CVT)

*: 07736-A01000B must be used with commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer.

Special Tools Required

Adjustable Bearing Puller, 25-40 mm 07736-A01000B*

*: 07736-A01000B must be used with commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer.

Replacement

NOTE: Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid on all parts before installation.

1. Driven Pulley Shaft Bearing - Remove

  1. Remove the bearing set plate (A).

  1. Remove the driven pulley shaft bearing (A) using the 25-40 mm adjustable bearing puller and a commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer (B).

  1. Remove the oil guide plate (A).

2. Driven Pulley Shaft Bearing - Install

  1. Install the oil guide plate (A).

  1. Install the driven pulley shaft bearing (A) until it bottoms using the 40 mm I.D. driver handle.

  1. Install the bearing set plate (A).
