Honda HR-V: Exterior Lights System Description - Overview

The exterior lights system includes the exterior lights, the front fog lights, the turn signal lights, and the automatic lighting system.

Headlights

The headlight system consists of the headlights, the MICU, the combination light switch, and the gauge control module for lighting indicators.

Automatic Lighting System

The automatic lighting system consists of the MICU, the automatic lighting sensor, the combination light switch, and the gauge control module for lighting the light control indicator. The system automatically controls the lighting operation. The automatic lighting function detects the luminance in the surroundings and automatically controls ON/OFF of lighting operation by B-CAN according to the luminance.

Daytime Running Lights

The daytime running lights consists of the MICU, the left and right headlight high beams, and the parking brake switch. The daytime running lights operate with the vehicle in ON mode, the headlights off (headlight switch OFF or AUTO position), and the parking brake released.

Fog Lights

The front fog light system consists of the front fog lights, the MICU, the combination light switch, and the gauge control module for lighting indicators.
