and Installation
Removal & Installation
SRS components are located near the mode control motor and the recirculation
control motor. Review the SRS
component locations - Refer to: SRS Component Location Index (KA/KC), and the
precautions and
procedures before doing repairs or service.
NOTE:
- Select the MAX COOL position before removing the air mix control motor.
- Select the VENT position before removing the mode control motor.

- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- When you install the air mix control motor or
passenger's air mix control motor (A), align the
control motor with the gear, then install control
motor.
- When you install the driver's air mix control motor
(B), align the control motor with the gear, then
install control motor.
- When you install the mode control motor (C), align
the position of the damper lever pins (D), then
install the control motor.
