DTC (SRS)
1. Problem verification:
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
Clear DTCs
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds. Buckle and
unbuckle the driver's seat belt
several times.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B0050-13 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to Troubleshooting
Intermittent Failures. If another DTC is indicated, troubleshoot the DTC.
2. SRS unit check:
- Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- Connect terminals A and B with a jumper wire.

- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B0050-11 indicated?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
Faulty SRS unit or poor connection at SRS unit connector B (39P) and the SRS
unit. Check the
connection; if the connection is OK, replace the SRS unit. If the DTC does not
clear, replace the floor
wire harness.
3. Open wire check (FLBC line):
- Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- Remove the jumper wire from SRS unit connector B (39P).
- Disconnect the driver's seat belt buckle switch 2P connector (A) on the
floor wire harness.

- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

Is there 10 V or more?
YES
The FLBC wire is OK. Go to step 4.
NO
Open in the floor wire harness; replace the floor wire harness, then clear
the DTC.
4. Open wire check (GND line):
- Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.

Is there 1.0 Ω or less?
YES
The GND wire is OK. Faulty driver's seat belt buckle switch; replace the
driver's seat belt buckle
assembly, then clear the DTC.
NO
Open in the floor wire harness; check for a poor ground at G502. If the
ground is OK, replace the floor
wire harness, then clear the DTC.

1. Headlight Bulb - Remove
Disconnect the connector (A)
Remove the rubber (B).
Pull the retaning spring (A) away from the bulb (B), then
remove the bulb.
2. All Removed Parts - Install
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
