Honda HR-V: Exterior Lights Bulb Removal and Installation

Removal & Installation

Headlight (High/Low)

1. Headlight Bulb - Remove

1. Disconnect the connector (A)
2. Remove the rubber (B).

3. Pull the retaning spring (A) away from the bulb (B), then remove the bulb.

2. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Front Turn Signal Light/Front Parking Light

3. Front Turn Signal Light/Front Parking Light - Remove

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Front Side Marker Light

5. Front Side Marker Light Bulb - Remove

1. Disconnect the connector (A)
2. Turn the bulb socket (B) counterclockwise to remove it from the housing
3. Remove the bulb (C) from the bulb socket.

6. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Turn Signal Light

7. Taillight - Remove - Refer to: Inner Taillight Removal and Installation, or Taillight Removal and Installation

8. Rear Turn Signal Light Bulb - Remove

1. Turn the bulb socket (A) counterclockwise to remove it from the housing
2. Remove the bulb (B) from the bulb socket.

9. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Back-Up Light

10. Back-Up Light Bulb - Remove

1. Remove the tailgate maintenance side lid (A).

2. Turn the bulb socket (A) counterclockwise to remove it from the housing
3. Remove the bulb (B) from the bulb socket.

11. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
