The idle learn procedure must be done so the PCM can learn the engine idle
characteristics.
Do the idle learn procedure whenever you do any of these actions:

Do this procedure 10 times: Turn the vehicle to the ON mode while
turning the steering wheel to the
left and to the right.
Does the system change to ON mode?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor
connection.
