1. Problem verification:
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Check the EPS indicator.
Does the EPS indicator come on, then go off?

1. EPS system check:
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
Disconnect the following connectors.
EPS control unit connector B (6P)
EPS control unit connector C (2P)

1. LDW OFF switch indicator check 1:
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Operate the LDW OFF switch.
Check and note the parameter below with the HDS.
Does the value change?
YES
Go to step 2.

NOTE
Always check "How to troubleshoot the SRS system" and proceed along each
"DTC Troubleshooting"
procedure.
Make sure the 12 volt battery is fully charged. If not, the results of
tests may not be accurate.
