1. Problem verification.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Does the AWD system indicator come on?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
NO
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
2. Gauge control module operation check.
Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function.

Test the motor in each direction by connecting 12 volt battery power and
ground to the connector (A) according to the table. When the motor stops
running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately. If the motor does not
